Rose Garden at Will Rogers Park

There is quite a wonderful public rose garden right here in Oklahoma City. It is almost all modern hybrid tea, floribunda, and grandiflora roses, but still lovely to visit. I took these pictures in late August of 1996. I will try to get some better shots later on. Looks like I caught the garden between major bloom flushes. They update their roses every year and label them well. They usually have a few of the newly introduced roses each year.

This view is between the west parking lot and the rose garden.

Again, I do need to come up with better pictures, but as you can see, the garden is quite large, has a very large selection of modern roses, and is well worth the time to visit if you are ever in town.
