Peach Cobbler
Method: Heat oven to 350F. Melt the butter in a 9 x 9" pan. In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, salt, butter flavoring and almond extract. This will be a thin mixture. Pour over the melted butter---but DON'T mix. In another bowl, mix the peaches with the sugar and spoon over the batter. Bake for 20-25 min. The batter will puff up around the peach mixture. Best served warm with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream.
