Peach Cobbler

3/4 c sugar

3/4 cup flour

3/4 cup milk

2t. soda,

dash salt

Butter -- 1/4 c plus 2 tsp.

2 cups peeled and sliced peaches

1/2 cup sugar

Dash of ginger

Dash of cloves

Method:

Mix the sugar, flour, milk, soda and salt into a batter.

Melt 1/4c plus 2 t.butter in a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix sugar, peaches, ginger and cloves.

Pour the batter over the butter.  Top with the peaches.

DO NOT STIR

Bake at 350F for about an hour.

Eat with ice cream
