This rose is sometimes classified as a Damask, sometimes as an Alba. I have put it among the Damasks because that is what Peter Beales calls it. Sometimes you just have to decide to whom to listen. It has very upright growth, and produces a lot of flowers over a good long spring season. Once bloomer.
