Mutabilis

I would never have ordered this rose from it's pictures. It never looked very striking to me. However, I saw it at the display gardens at Antique Rose Emporium and bought it that day. It was a huge plant with bronze new growth, bugundy canes, red thorns, deep green leaves, and covered with a multitude of different colored blossoms. It was the loveliest single rose I'd ever seen. The picture above comes from my garden. It is not in a pot, but a pot sits behind it in the picture. The picture at the bottom was taken at the Antique Rose Emporium. This China rose is never without flowers.
