This is an odd rose. It hasn't done as well as I'd like but the flowers are striking and unusual. It's a striped rose, but the stripes are dark pink on a pink base, so it is more subtile than most striped roses. It is also either sensitive to alkaline soil, or it has naturally very pale green leaves. Looks odd. The books say "some repeat bloom". Well, in my garden that means that I get one flower each fall. Hey, not gonna look a gift rose in the mouth, eh?
