I originally bought this rose from Wayside (from whom I will NEVER order again). It was always sickly, but produced the most stunning flowers. I finally replaced the original plant with an own root plant from Heirloom Old Garden Roses. In one season, it got to be good sized and produced some gorgeous flowers. This is a favorite semi-double. I have a weakness for semi-double roses... it's that stamens thing... Belle Story is the belle of the garden, producing lots of flowers, and it has good scent, too.
